Intro to herbalism covering safety and ethics, how to get more herbs in your life, intro to constitutions, materia medica (and one in-depth herb), and medicinal processing.
Session includes:

Fostered and Foraged Apothecary (May 24)
Sunday, May 24, 2026 • Limit 12
Join us, Sunday, May 24, 2026 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. for our experiential “Fostered and Foraged” Apothecary class. This course will take place in an ACTUAL garden where we will be identifying several key herbs that one can easily grow or forage. During this course, we will discuss foraging ethics and focus on those herbs for first aid and nervines. This course also includes tea from the garden, a plantain salve, a “fostered and foraged” herbalism lesson, literature (a new zine to add to your collection), a robust Q & A, and, most importantly, making new friends of like mind.
Note: We will assemble at Rabbit Stew and, if possible, caravan over to the property of our resident herbalist, Cris Fellows. In addition, a liability clause must be signed before course participation.

Join us, April 24, 2026, for an evening celebrating the ancient Celtic Fire Festival, Beltane. Class will include deep lore surrounding the Gaelic tradition “the Fires of Bel,” often associated with the Sun God, Belenus. This class includes the assemblage of a Maypole and flower crown, intention setting, and spell work while enjoying Tulip Chevre, seeded crackers, and fresh fruit embellished with foraged flowers.

This course focuses exclusively on the meanings of the Elder Futhark runes as symbolic concepts rooted in language, culture, and historical use. Students will learn what each rune fundamentally represents and how rune meanings function as ranges of related ideas rather than single fixed definitions.
